Like To Eat – Horses are big animals and they need large amounts of food to maintain their health. Horses love treats just like the rest of us do. In fact, sometimes they like certain foods more than others! Here’s a list of some favorite horse treats:

Apples

Apples are a great treat for horses to eat. Horses also like eating apples, and so do humans and other animals. Apples have many vitamins and minerals in them, so they are very nutritious as well as tasty. It’s possible to eat apples raw or cook them into delicious desserts or even apple cider!

Banana

  • Bananas are a good treat for horses.
  • Horses like bananas.
  • Horses like to eat bananas, especially when they’re hungry!
  • Bananas are good for horses because they contain healthy carbohydrates and vitamins, making them great treats for your furry friend!

Carrots

Carrots are a treat that horses love to eat. They can be fed fresh or dried and are full of vitamins, minerals and fiber.

When it comes to feeding carrots, consult your veterinarian on the proper amount for your horse’s age, weight and activity level. Some horses may need more than others depending on their health condition. If you’re using fresh carrots, cut them into smaller pieces so they’re easier for the horse to chew. For example, if you feed half-inch thick slices of carrot (a little over an inch long), break it up into smaller bits before giving it to your horse – this also helps lessen potential damage from chewing on large chunks.

Additionally:

  • Are carrots good for digestion? Yes! Carrots contain beta carotene which is a vitamin A precursor that helps promote healthy skin and coat in addition to aiding digestion by supporting enzyme function in the body’s digestive tract.*

Sugar Cubes

If your horse has a sweet tooth, sugar cubes are a great treat for him. They’re small and easy to carry around in your pocket or bag, so you can reward your horse with one or two after he’s been good. Sugar cubes will give him a boost of energy without giving him too much sugar at once. And as long as he isn’t overweight and is healthy, this should be a safe treat for him to enjoy every now and then.

Lettuce

Lettuce is a great treat for horses that are not in good condition and not very active. It’s also good for horses recovering from an injury and expecting mothers, as well as lactating mothers.

Pumpkins

Pumpkins are a great source of fiber, which is important for both your horse’s digestive health and its energy level. They’re also high in vitamin A, C, beta-carotene and potassium. Protein sources like pumpkin can help boost your horse’s immune system as well. Just make sure that when you feed it to your animal you remove the seeds first because they contain cyanide!

Corn

Corn is a great treat for your horse. It’s full of the energy they need to run around and play. It contains fiber, vitamins and minerals that are important for their health. Corn also contains protein, which helps build muscle.

Pasta

Pasta is a great treat for horses. If you’re looking to feed your horse some carbs, which are good sources of energy, pasta is an easy option.

Pasta can be given to horses as a reward for training or as a treat on its own.

Breads

Breads are a great treat for horses. They’re a good source of carbohydrates, which provide energy to help the horse perform hard work. They can be especially beneficial to horses who are recovering from an injury or illness.

Here’s why:

  • Carbohydrates help feed muscles and organs, which means they can improve your horse’s overall health.
  • Carbohydrates also provide fuel for working muscles (like those used when riding), preventing fatigue and increasing stamina.

Cabbage, broccoli & cauliflower

Cabbage, broccoli and cauliflower are all high in fiber, which helps with digestion. They’re also beneficial to your horse’s heart health.

Horses are similar to humans sometimes

Horses are similar to humans in some ways. For example, they can be picky eaters. If you give them something they don’t like, the food will simply go to waste (and your horse may not enjoy the experience).

Horses also love eating apples, bananas, carrots and sugar cubes. They also enjoy eating lettuce, pumpkins and corn. Some horses like pasta and breads; others prefer cabbages or broccoli with cauliflower sauce!

Conclusion

Horses are similar to humans sometimes. They have a lot of needs and they eat a lot of things that we do too! It’s really fun to feed them treats because they love them so much, but be careful not to overfeed them because it can cause health problems if you do that too often. Horses like apples, bananas, carrots and sugar cubes the most but not all horses like these foods just like people don’t always enjoy eating similar foods every day either! You might want to try out some new treats with your horse next time he looks bored or tired during his meal time – maybe he’ll surprise you with how much he likes them!
